In this animated short film, Ozzy Ozone (an ozone molecule) and Alberta the Albatross take a voyage of discovery to find out exactly who and what is attacking the ozone layer, and how children can play an important role in making a difference. The Government of Barbados Ozone Programme developed the Ozzy Ozone character for use in their national awareness campaigns. This mascot has been used with awareness materials (ranging from posters to giveaway items such as pens, pencils, rulers, erasers), and as part of the Ozone Pledge programme where local companies trading in Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) signed on to assist in the phase out of ODS. It was adapted as part of the global UNEP campaign for Ozone Day 2000, and animated in this video that TVE International produced for UNEP.
