Our Environment, Our Health: An NIEHS Perspective

In the Spring Health and Environment Lecture, Linda S. Birnbaum, Ph.D., director of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and National Toxicology Program, has spent more than thirty five years researching, evaluating, and educating the public on risks associated with hazardous environmental exposures. She will discuss the impacts of global environmental health, what it means for our local families and communities, and 21st-century environmental health challenges such as climate change, arsenic exposure, and persistent organic pollutants. The event was sponsored by Penn State's Center for Molecular Toxicology and Carcinogenesis and the Institutes of Energy and the Environment
